President Obama returned to the White House and addressed both the situation in Iraq and Ferguson, Mo. Obama said there is a ‘gulf of mistrust’ between many minority groups across the country and local police officers. He said that’s fueling the violence in the St. Louis suburb.
On Iraq, he said the U.S. is making progress and has recaptured a critical dam in the country. Obama didn’t lay out a timetable for how long it’ll take to control Islamic State.
