SPRINGTOWN, Texas (AP) — Authorities say tips from the public led to the arrest of a 44-year-old North Texas woman accused of shooting her nursing dog and then leaving the body in a cage partially on a road along with her 10 blood-caked puppies.
The Parker County Sherriff’s office says Tammy Green Douglas was arrested early Sunday morning and charged with cruelty to non-livestock animals. She was released later in the day after posting $3,000 bond. A phone number for her could not be found.
