The Washington Business Journal is reporting that most jobs at TBD.com are being eliminated. The local news start-up, owned by Allbritton Communications, launched last fall, with general manager Jim Brady leaving in November. On Feb. 9 it was announced that the cross branding between TBD and the Allbritton-owned TV station WJLA would end, and WJLA would get its own Web site back. Allbritton Communications also owns Politico.
