Amid low approval ratings and growing economic concerns, President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address Tuesday night drew 32.3 million viewers across the major broadcast networks.
Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox saw an average of 4.6 million viewers. Fox News led with 6.9 million viewers while the Fox network trailed at 1.8 million viewers, according to Deadline.
ABC led in the key 25-54 years old demographic with 1.7 million viewers.
Biden’s speech drew more viewers than his 2021 Joint Address to Congress that netted 27 million viewers. However, it remained much lower than Trump’s 2020 State of the Union address with 46.8 million viewers.
