Ghislaine Maxwell’s husband reportedly informed her that he was leaving her during a phone call while Maxwell was in solitary confinement, a close friend of the convicted sex trafficker said.
Maxwell’s friend told the Daily Mail that Scott Borgerson, 46, broke up with Maxwell on the phone while she was being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center.
“There was a dramatic phone call between them, while she was in jail in solitary confinement. It became confrontational,” the friend told the outlet. “Scott told her he had moved on and was seeing someone else.”

Another anonymous source noted to the Daily Mail that Borgerson did not attend Maxwell’s trial.
“He did not attend a single day of her trial. Read into that what you will,” the source said.
Borgerson was spotted last month kissing yoga instructor and mother of two, Kris McGinn, 49, the New York Post reported. When Borgerson was approached by reporters and questioned about his new relationship, he reportedly snapped at them, telling them to “go away!”
