Two men were shot multiple times within about three hours of each other in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, D.C. police said. Police have not indicated that the incidents were connected.
The first shooting occurred at 12:40 a.m. on the 700 block of Harvard Street NW, police said. Officers responding to a report of a shooting found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital.
Police arrived at the 1300 block of Columbia Road NW at around 3 a.m. following reports of gunshots in the area, police said. They found another man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, who was also brought to a local hospital.
