NJ Transit tests smartphone tickets

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Some New Jersey Transit train passengers no longer need to line up at the ticket machines.

The agency is testing a mobile ticketing program on the Pascack Valley Line and the Meadowlands Rail Line.
