MARC trains to inauguration sold out

Tickets for MARC trains to Washington, D.C., for the Jan. 20 inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama are sold out, Maryland transit officials said Monday.

Officials are encouraging those who want to travel to the District on Inauguration Day to use a special commuter bus service to the D.C. Metrorail. Buses will be leaving from various park-and-ride locations starting at 4 a.m. and ending at 8:45 a.m. with 15-minute intervals. All routes will depart from their respective Metro stations between 4 and 8 p.m. Reservations are not required, and customers can buy $10 round-trip tickets onboard Jan. 20. Customers must have exact change.
