Alec Baldwin arrested after allegedly punching man over a parking spot

Actor Alec Baldwin was arrested by New York City police Friday after he allegedly punched someone during a fight over a parking spot in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood, the New York Police Department confirmed to the Washington Examiner.

Baldwin, who plays President Trump on NBC’s “SNL,” was taken into custody by NYPD officers from the 6th precinct Friday afternoon after a sidewalk altercation.

Police said they received a call at 2 p.m. about an assault at 28 East 10th St.

“Upon arrival, officers observed a 49-years-old male conscious and alert with injury to his left jaw. EMS responded and transported the [man] to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition. A 60 year old male was arrested and charges are pending. The investigation is ongoing,” NYPD said in an email.

Baldwin yelled “fuck off” at the other person during the fight, according to TMZ’s account.

Baldwin, 60, lives in the area with his wife and children.
