The Washington Redskins will stay at Maryland’s FedEx Field — for now. D.C. Mayor Adrian Fenty was asked about the Redskins’ future at a meeting Monday with Bloomberg editors and reporters.
A wire story said Fenty would meet with team owner Dan Snyder to “discuss potentially moving the team back to the capital.” Fenty spokeswoman Mafara Hobson said the issue is not on that meeting’s agenda.
“There’s no particular initiative to put the Redskins back in the District,” Hobson said.
