Hours after Paul Manafort announced his resignation from the Trump campaign, Dr. Ben Carson argued that the change isn’t anything out of the ordinary, comparing it to an Olympic relay team.

Carson told CNN’s Brianna Keilar that Manafort did a “wonderful job” in his role as a middle man, adding that it’s a good move to pass the baton on to Kellyanne Conway and Stephen Bannon, who took the reigns of the campaign earlier in the week.
