Top Trump associate Stephen Miller tests positive for the coronavirus

Senior White House adviser Stephen Miller has tested positive for the coronavirus.

CNN chief White House reporter Jim Acosta confirmed Miller’s positive test in a statement released to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon.

“Over the last 5 days I have been working remotely and self-isolating, testing negative every day through yesterday,” read the statement. “Today, I tested positive for COVID-19 and am in quarantine.”

Miller joins several top Trump officials and allies, including White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who have tested positive since the president’s test on Thursday.

A senior Trump administration official told the Washington Examiner that Miller’s pregnant wife Katie has left Vice President Mike Pence in Salt Lake City and is flying to stay with her parents in Florida. Miller already tested positive for the coronavirus over the weekend.
