Fighters jets will be buzzing Washington-Baltimore area skies next week to practice intercepting hijacked plans and other threats.
People might see look up and see jets flying near other aircraft. The planes are under contract to participate in the exercises.
Scenarios could also include airbourne terrorists, counter-drug operations and aircrafts in distress.
The exercises are part of the North American Aerospace Defense Command’s exercices that have taken place in the U.S. and Canada since Sept. 11, 2001.
NORAD will announce the time of the exercises later.
