Employees at Under Armour were reportedly asked to undergo diversity training and examine “dominant white progressive narratives.”
The program, which reportedly took place during the spring of 2020, asked employees to examine their own personal biases, according to the Daily Wire, citing an anonymous employee at the company and alleged video of the training.

One of the training session’s slides was reportedly titled “Above the Surface: Dominant White Progressive Narratives.”
The slide allegedly listed phrases to watch out for, such as, “I was taught to treat everyone the same,” “I work in a very diverse environment,” “I have people of color in my family,” “I used to live in New York,” and “Children are so much more open.”
The company said in a statement to the Washington Examiner that “in 2020, we released a new plan and programming focused on building a more diverse, inclusive, equitable, and values-driven culture. Given the importance of the subject matter, this included a new, mandatory internal event series centered on giving all our corporate teammates opportunities to reflect and improve their ability to discuss bias, prejudice, discrimination, and racism.”
Participants were also reportedly asked to talk about their educational backgrounds and what they considered characteristics of “good” versus “bad” schools.
“Did your parents care about what kind of school you went to? If so, why?” the program allegedly asked. “How often had you had a teacher or professor of your own race(s)?”

“What are some of the ways in which your race has shaped your life?” the presenter continued. “The last one should be something that you are thinking about if you are white for the rest of your life.”
