Have what it takes, plebe?

Area students who want to attend one of the nation’s service academies will be able to meet representatives from the five schools next weekend.

The 10th District Academy Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 14 at the Loudoun County School Board Office in Ashburn and will have reps from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

In addition, representatives from Virginia Military Institute and the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets have been invited, according to Rep. Frank Wolf’s office. The Department of Defense Medical Examination Review Board will also be in attendance.

 

Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives and participate in panel discussions.
