VOICE OVER SCRIPT

LOOK UP ——– WAY UP.

AUSTRIAN DAREDEVIL CHRISTIAN WALDNER (VALD-nuhr) THRILLED SPECTATORS BELOW BY WALKING A TIGHTROPE BETWEEN THE TWO TOWERS OF VIENNA’S MOST FAMOUS LANDMARK.

ST. STEPHEN’S CATHEDRAL.

WALDNER SPECIALIZES IN BALANCING ON A SLACKLINE — A BAND THAT’S LESS THAN AN INCH THICK – -TIGHTENED BETWEEN TWO OBJECTS.

DESPITE STRONG WINDS — HE MADE THE FIFTY METER CROSSING FOUR TIMES.

SOUNDBITE (English) Christian Waldner, Slackline walker:

“You know, I feel really great. It’s an amazing feeling.”

HE’S DONE THIS SORT OF THING BEFORE — BUT WALKING THE SLACKLINE BETWEEN THE TOWERS OF ST. STEPHEN’S CATHEDRAL WAS BY FAR HIS BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENT.

SPECTATORS LOVED IT — AND WALDNER SIGNED AUTOGRAPHS WHEN HE WAS DONE.
