“Due to industry-wide supply chain disruptions, some Chick-fil-A restaurants are experiencing a shortage of select items, like sauces,” the company said in a statement shared with the Washington Examiner. “We are actively working to make adjustments to solve this issue quickly and apologize to our Guests for any inconvenience.”
It is unclear how many of the chain’s stores were limiting sauce consumption, but it has 2,600 locations in the U.S.
The company stressed that its chicken supply remains unaffected.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, fast-food restaurants have not only faced difficulties due to interruptions in their supplies but also due to interruptions in their labor force.
