Netanyahu: Press Iran harder on nuclear program

WASHINGTON (AP) — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Iran must be prevented from having nuclear weapons as well as the capacity to make them.

Netanyahu told a pro-Israeli conference on Tuesday that if Iran’s nuclear program is truly peaceful then Tehran should dismantle its heavy water reactor, which the Israeli leader says is not needed in a peaceful program. Netanyahu says Iran also must get rid of its centrifuges, stockpiles of enriched uranium and fully divulge the military aspects of its program.
