Pro-choice group rolls out female playing cards

An abortion rights group is hoping to raise money with playing cards illustrated with a full house of women they call feminist icons.

Celebrating female “trailblazers,” NARAL ProChoice America is offering the cards in exchange for donations $30 or more.

The “Gender Cards” honor figures such as Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, first lady Michelle Obama, Federal Reserve Chairwoman Janet Yellen, Black Lives Matter co-founders and Fight for $15 minimum wage supporters.

One card features Laverne Cox, the “Orange is the New Black” transgender actor who was born a man but now identifies as a woman.

The cards also include suffragists such as Susan B. Anthony, for whom the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List group is named.

Filling out the suits are historical figures such as Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Sacagawea, Clara Barton and Ella Fitzgerald, while comedians Mindy Kaling, Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are unsurprisingly jokers.
