The third Democratic primary debate is being held in Houston and will mark the first time former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth Warren will be on the same stage.
Thursday’s debate, which starts at 7 p.m. EST, will be for one night as it will also feature Sens. Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro, and tech entrepreneur Andrew Yang.
October’s debate will most likely be a two-night event after billionaire Tom Steyer, who was a late entry, reached the donor threshold and polling percentage requirements.
Candidates who will not appear tonight include Sen. Michael Bennett, Mayor Bill de Blasio, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and Marianne Williamson.
