Not everyone is happy about Ivanka Trump getting “a seat at the table” after the first daughter posted a photo of herself on social media sitting at the Oval Office desk while her father and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stood at her side.
“A great discussion with two world leaders about the importance of women having a seat at the table!” the 35-year-old businesswoman-turned-adviser to Trump wrote in posts on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

A day earlier, Trudeau and Trump announced the Canada-United States Council for Advancement of Women Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders, a bilateral initiative to increase women entrepreneurship in both nations. The meeting was arranged by Ivanka Trump, who has been the leading voice for more moderate to progressive concerns among White House advisers.
Some criticized the image as being a show of nepotism from the president’s eldest daughter, and objected to her heavy involvement in Trump’s administration despite not having an official role.
Ivanka wants more women at the table, but oh, feminists think it should be a different type of women
Fuck off feminist, fucking hypocrites

This round table Women CEO crap was nothing more than Trump using Trudeau’s image to try and repair Ivanka’s brand. That’s it. That’s all.

Ivanka Trump has been at the center of a controversy recently involving Nordstrom and several other clothing companies around the country dropping her fashion line. The president and his adviser Kellyanne Conway have both been criticized for defending and promoting her clothing brand.
Last week, the eldest daughter to the president posted a photo of her on the phone while holding her youngest child. The post elicited praise from those who liked her simultaneously being both a mother and career woman, while others criticized her actions.
