THE DAILY OUTRAGE: Caught on camera

Who: Department of Justice

What: Giving $30,000 in taxpayer stimulus money to Hamilton, N.J., to fund the “Gang and Graffiti Suppression Program.” The money will be used to purchase two cameras to be placed in areas where graffiti has prevailed. It will also pay for police officers to patrol the area.

Why it’s an outrage: Graffiti is a local, not federal, problem. And how is this going to stimulate the economy?

Where to vent: Call the Office of Justice Programs at 202-307-0703.
