WASHINGTON (AP) — The District of Columbia says it plans to operate its Department of Motor Vehicles’ Inspection Station on special hours because of forecast high heat.
The DMV says it will have special hours on Friday and Saturday. On both days the station will be open from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. Normal hours during the summer are from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The DMV says it is making the change to ensure the safety of employees and customers.
