Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., let one of his sons cast his vote for Paul Ryan, R-Wis., as the next House speaker.
“Ryan,” the boy yelled out in front of a packed House chamber. The unexpected high-pitched vote brought about laughter from members throughout the room.

The Sooner State congressman is a father of five and included two of his sons with him at the vote. A number of other members and spectators were also seen attending the vote with their families, including former Gov. Mitt Romney, Ryan’s presidential running mate in 2012.
