President Trump’s dinner with Supreme Court justices has been postponed, according to a White House spokeswoman.
“There has been a slight shift in the schedule and it is being moved to a later date,” Sarah Huckabee Sanders told the Washington Examiner.
Trump was scheduled to have dinner with the justices Thursday. The president’s newly confirmed Supreme Court pick Neil Gorsuch was expected to attend.
The dinner was planned during a hectic week for the president and Congress, coming just two days before Trump’s 100th day in office.
The federal government is set to shut down at the end of the week if Congress can’t reach a spending deal.
