It’ll be a four-legged furry frenzy as animal lovers and their dogs walk and trot in the Washington Humane Society’s fifth annual “Walk for the Animals.” Participants will gather at the Marie Reed Learning Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Adams Morgan and enjoy festivities such as face painting, dress-up and look-a-like contests along with photo opportunities with McGruff the Crime Dog. Furry friends will be treated to a canine obstacle course, gourmet treats and pet photos as well. Proceeds will benefit the Washington Humane Society and the Humane Society of the United States.
