White House reporter for Playboy Brian Karem intends to sue the Trump administration for suspending his hard pass to the White House.
The White House suspended Karem’s press pass for 30 days after the Playboy reporter and CNN analyst traded insults with former White House official Sebastian Gorka at President Trump’s July 11 social media summit.
Karem announced his intention to sue the administration on Friday.
“Just received word from the WH – finalized my hard pass suspension for 30 days – according to their letter – part of it because they think I do a bad Rodney Dangerfield impersonation. We will now go to court and sue,” Karem tweeted.

At the summit, Karem said the assembled social media influencers, mainly right-wing personalities, were a “group of people that are eager for demonic possession.”
Gorka reacted to Karem’s comment, and Karem offered, “We can go outside and have a long conversation.”
“You’re a punk! You’re not a journalist! You’re a punk!” Gorka shouted at Karem before walking away.
