Talking with Fox News’s John Fox on Thursday, Stephen Hayes talked about Donald Trump’s knack for turning legitimate issues into outlandish conspiracy theories.
Hayes specifically references revelations that Donna Brazile gave Hillary Clinton’s team town hall questions in advance during the primaries.
“In typical Donald Trump fashion, he takes something that is a legitimate beef, and raises real questions, and rather than attack it specifically, and, sort-of surgically, he creates this entire conspiracy theory, as you point out in your question, John. Unclear whether he was referring to the primary debates or whether he was referring to this one question, or whether he was ridiculously suggesting that Chris Wallace may have given the debate questions to Hillary Clinton.”
