DNC raises almost $65M last year, spends as much

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Democratic National Committee raised close to $65 million last year and spent almost the entire haul.

The DNC’s Federal Elections Commission report, filed Friday, also lists $15.6 million in debt. The committee says it has $21 million banked heading into this election year.
