Dianne Feinstein-linked Lake Tahoe compound listed for more than $40M

A lakefront compound connected to Sen. Dianne Feinstein and her husband Richard Blum has been listed for more than $40 million.

The Lake Tahoe property, owned by an LLC tied to Blum’s investment management firm Blum Capital, has a price tag of $41 million, down from its original $46 million asking price, according to Realtor.com.

The three-house compound encompasses 10,343 square feet, seven bedrooms, and seven bathrooms. The property also has a view of the water.

Many businesses and public figures have left the state of California in recent months. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk revealed earlier this month he was renting a small, ranch-style house in Texas after selling or listing his entire $114 million in real estate holdings in the past year, including properties in California.

Feinstein, 88, has resisted pressure to step down before her Senate term is up, which would allow Gov. Gavin Newsom to appoint her replacement.

“I’ve not discussed [the possibility of retiring early] with anybody,” she said. “Nobody has asked me questions about it.”
