Donald Trump said Friday that he will participate in the next FOX News-sponsored debate, scheduled for March 3.
He made the comment in an inteview with Newsmax TV, and told host Steve Malzberg that Megyn Kelly’s role as moderator won’t affect his attendance — just as he said it didn’t have any impact on his decision to skip the last Fox News Channel debate in late January.
“I’ll be there. I have no objection to being there. That had nothing to do with Megyn Kelly. The fact that I went out of the last one had to do with a memo sent out by FOX that was a little bit taunting, and I said it was inappropriate. And what happened, because I didn’t do it, I raised 6 million dollars for the vets. So I wouldn’t have changed places. I mean, I did the right thing,” Trump said.
