NYC mayor rules out Olympic bid

NEW YORK (AP) — Mayor Bill de Blasio has ruled out making a bid to host the 2024 Olympic Games.

Alicia Glen, deputy mayor for housing and economic development, told the Wall Street Journal (http://on.wsj.com/1lQzJMj ) the mayor made the decision after weighing the pros and cons of hosting the event.
