Vandals defaced almost 50 cars in the Belcamp area of Harford County overnight Monday, police said.
Officials from the Harford County Sheriff?s Office said 47 cars in the areas of Foxglove Court, Foxglove Square and Arabis Court were vandalized with spray paint. Sheriff?s deputies were dispatched to the area at about 3:30 Tuesday morning.
Two police cars taken home by officers living in the area were also vandalized ? one with spray paint, and another with what appeared to be mustard and eggs, said Sheriff?s Office spokeswoman Sgt. Christina Presberry.
None of the cars was broken into, and no property was stolen. The spray painting did not appear to be the work of gangs or “taggers,” Presberry said.
