Michigan AG on committee for General Motors probe

LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says he’s among the state attorneys general on a committee overseeing an investigation into General Motors Co.’s recall and safety procedures.

Schuette told The Detroit News (http://bit.ly/Za3cNj ) Thursday he and 44 other state attorneys general are investigating ignition switch problems. He says states and the federal government are working together to determine the investigation’s course.
