Some out-side-the-box thinking helped Jordan’s King Abdullah II look as tall as President Trump during their joint press conference in the White House Rose Garden on Wednesday.
The 6’2″ U.S. president and 5’5″ Abdullah II discussed serious matters, including a chemical weapons attack in Syria this week, but some journalists’ focus was placed squarely on the box.
King Abdullah stood on a box for the joint presser w/ President Trump.

Good work by advance teams for getting the Jordanian King a box to stand on. @realDonaldTrump is very tall, King Abdullah is not. pic.twitter.com/8H0a4DekiZ
