Kennedy Center president going to work for Prince Charles

The president of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, will soon lead philanthropic initiatives for Prince Charles in the United States.

On Jan. 1, Michael Kaiser becomes chairman of The Prince of Wales Foundation USA. He has been Kennedy Center president since 2001 and, according to its website, “has expanded the educational and artistic programming [and] overseen a major renovation effort of most of the Center’s theaters.”

In March, Georgetown University awarded him an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree.
