SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California Attorney General Kamala Harris has formed a new unit aimed at enforcing federal and state privacy laws to protect consumers.
Harris says she intends to give consumers more control over how their personal information is used, and enforce laws that protect how private or sensitive information is shared and with whom.
