ASTROS AIM TO CLOSE OUT WORLD SERIES OVER PHILLIES IN GAME 6
Astros left fielder Yordan Alvarez delivered a three-run home run for the team, securing his team’s second World Series title in the club’s 61-year history.
The World Series win is also the first championship for the Astros since their 2017 victory, which led to scandal over an illegal sign-stealing scheme.
Longtime MLB manager Dusty Baker, who joined the Astros after the scandal, has clinched his first World Series as a manger with this win.
