Screen on the Green, D.C.’s famous free outdoor movie festival, is returning to the National Mall this summer for its 14th season. This summer, the action moves to a new location on the Mall between 7th and 12th streets. Each movie will be shown on a 20-by-40-foot outdoor screen just after sunset. The season opens with “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” on July 16, continues with the Frank Capra film “It Happened One Night” on July 25, followed by “From Here to Eternity” starring Burt Lancaster on July 30, and Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho” will close out the season on Aug. 6. — Roxanne Turnbull
