Updated 4:20 p.m.: Metro Transit Police had not made any arrests Thursday afternoon in the case of riders releasing pepper spray on a Blue Line train near L’Enfant Plaza.
But Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said Metro police are looking for three teens: a black female with gold hair who is wearing a pink shirt, a black female with a black shirt and tan pants, and a black male with a high-top fade hair cut and royal blue jacket.
The agency asks anyone who sees them to call Metro Transit police at 202-962-2121.

A teen released pepper spray on a Blue Line train between Smithsonian and L’Enfant Plaza just after 3 p.m., according to Metro.
It was sprayed in only one rail car. But the residual odors wafted through the L’Enfant Plaza station, so the agency turned on the ventilation fans, Metro spokesman Dan Stessel said.
No one had sought medical help as of about 3:25 p.m., Stessel said.
It was the latest drama Thursday afternoon on the system, after a woman attempted suicide by jumping in front of a Metro train at U Street about 2:15 p.m.
