President Trump said Tuesday that “many good things” are in the works as the U.S. heads into the second day at the United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York.
“Big day at the United Nations — many good things, and some tricky ones, happening. We have a great team. Big speech at 10:00 A.M.,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning.

Trump is expected to ask attending world leaders to focus on their own sovereignty and not force the U.S. to carry the financial burden of funding U.N. funding and global security operations, during his speech Tuesday morning.
The remarks will mark Trump’s most significant foreign policy speech following his remarks in Saudi Arabia and Poland earlier this summer.
