After tracking down all reports of women reported missing in Harford, Baltimore and Cecil counties and coming to a dead end, Maryland State Police are now asking for the public?s help in identifying the bodies of two women found in a field just south of Aberdeen last month.

On Sept. 15, a man walking his dog in the area of Boyer Road in Perryman found what he believed to be a dead body.

After troopers from the state police Bel Air Barracks were called to the scene, a second body was found. Both were determined to be women, said Sgt. Tina Becker of the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit.

State police hope a description of the personal effects found with one of the bodies might enable someone to recognize the woman.

The personal items include:

» A Limited Too brand simulated leather jacket, size XXL

» A Madison Studio brand striped, long-sleeve button-down shirt

» A pair of Covington blue jeans, size 6, with a brown leather belt

» Athletic Works brand black athletic shoes with Velcro straps, size 7.5, “Nancy” model

» A gold ring, with clear stones on the top, chevrons ? angled stripes like those denoting military rank ? on the sides and a Band-Aid wrapped around the band

» A Timex Indiglo watch with a navy blue face, light blue compass dial and blue Velcro wristband

» A silver ring marked “India,” believed to be where the ring was made.

Police also believe the woman may have worn dentures. Becker said “there was nothing of significance” found with the second body.

State police are encouraging anyone with any idea who woman was to call 410-290-0050, ext. 140.

“We believe that she may not have been reported missing,” Becker said.

She said police are awaiting the results of DNA tests to identify the two women, and once the women are identified, police will look for suspects.

Since June 2, police in Harford County have found the bodies of four dead women, including those found on Sept. 15.

The Harford County Sheriff?s Office discovered the body of Sheila Ann Turner, 42, of Aberdeen, not far from where state police located the bodies found on Sept. 15.

State Police found the body of Lillian Phelps, 43, of Elkton, on June 14 off of Oakington Road in Havre de Grace.

Harford County State?s Attorney Joseph Cassilly said Tuesday he expects a grand jury to possibly indict a suspect in Turner and Phelps? homicides by the end of next week.
