Yellowstone fundraiser offers ‘Inheritance Pass’ good for 2172

A nonprofit organization partner of Yellowstone National Park is touting the offer of (another) lifetime to celebrate the park’s 150th anniversary.

Yellowstone Forever announced Monday that people who donate $1,500 to the organization will secure an “Inheritance Pass” that allows families to visit the park in 2172. In addition to the pass, donors will also receive a free visit to the park next year.

The organization said it will use all donations from the passes to “fund preservation efforts for the next 150 years.”

Donors can contact the organization if they lose their pass before 2172 because it will maintain a record of all pass owners.
