Good morning. A slower crime morning than usual in Washington.
An indictment out of Alexandria’s U.S. Attorney’s Office details a turf war between the Hell’s Angels and the Outlaw’s motorcycle gang. Apparently, the Outlaws joined with the Pagans in 2005 in Virginia and proceeded to battle with the Angels. More than two dozen bikers were arrested across the country, including several in Manassas.
It is a big morning for pet stories. A D.C. cop shot and killed a dog in NW, while serving a warrant. NBC 4 busts a District cat hoarder. More than 50 cats found in a woman’s house.
A Connecticut man was linked to a 2004 Howard County rape through DNA, police say. DNA database helped catch him.
Also, a dump truck overturned on the Beltway Thursday morning. If you’re planning on driving on the outer loop between Route 66 and Interstate 95, watch out for a traffic mess.
