Hundreds of groups are planning a march and rally on the National Mall on Saturday to advance their causes as the midterm elections approach.
One Nation Working Together will take place at the Lincoln Memorial from noon to 4 p.m.
Groups participating in the rally include civil rights, labor, faith, educational and environmental groups.
The gathering will emphasize the groups’ “re-commitment to change,” according to the organizers’ Website, and aims to energize left-leaning groups.
The rally comes a month after commentator Glenn Beck held a rally on the Mall to call for a restoration of conservative values.
