SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A Texas man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a car crash that caused a San Antonio police officer’s leg to be amputated.
A state district judge delivered the punishment to 27-year-old Kevin Balditt on Monday. Balditt pleaded guilty in April to intoxication assault of a public servant, which is a second-degree felony.
