Fox News anchor Sean Hannity defended Chris Cuomo on his show Tuedsay night after Cuomo was captured on video threatening a man who accosted him.
The video of the confrontation, which came to light Monday night, shows the unnamed individual arguing with the CNN anchor, who was cursing profusely and threatening to “throw you down these stairs like a f—ing punk.”
Hannity, who defended Cuomo on social media during the initial backlash, dedicated a segment to backing Cuomo on Tuesday night.
“I don’t support harassment of any public figure, especially in front of their children, and their family, and their wife. No person in this country should be taunted because of their political beliefs or opinions,” he began. “It was an insult. He was like the dumb brother in the show. So he’s insulting Chris Cuomo.”

“Chris has a right to defend himself and let’s not be phony, here,” Hannity continued, referring to Cuomo’s language in the video. “Everybody — we have all heard those words before. We have watched YouTube, and anyone feigning outrage like, ‘Oh, your precious ears never heard these words before,’ frankly, you’re probably full of it or if you act offended, you’re acting like a liberal that is offended by everything.”
