Clinton: Iraq vote ‘greatest political regret’

The Iraq war is Hillary Clinton’s greatest political regret, she revealed Thursday morning.

The Democratic presidential front-runner was asked during a town hall event on “Good Morning America” what her greatest political regret is. “Voting to give President Bush authority in Iraq,” Clinton responded.

“It did not turn out the way that I had thought it would based on what he had said,” she added. “And I regret that. And I said that it was a mistake and obviously is something that I wish hadn’t turned out the way it did.”

This year, she told AOL.com her greatest political regret had to do with healthcare.

“I regret we didn’t get healthcare back in 1993 or ’94, because we’d really be much further down the road,” she said.
