Trump bashes Clinton for ‘pay for play,’ invokes Blagojevich

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump hit his opponent Hillary Clinton for taking part in “pay for play” activities after a batch of new emails emerged this week showing that the State Department gave preferential treatment to Clinton Foundation donors during her tenure.

During an event in Abingdon, Va., Trump took her on, comparing her actions to those of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who had his 14-year jail sentence upheld earlier in the week, meaning he will serve out the remaining eight years.
