CNN is under fire after missing its New Year’s Eve midnight countdown for the Central time zone.
Rather than counting down the clock to 2023, host Don Lemon and celebrators in New Orleans danced to Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up.”

Tossing beads into a crowd, Lemon can be seen appearing to recognize that the countdown had passed, according to footage of the incident.

“Ready for this countdown?” he asked the crowd.
Social media was quick to point out the mistake.
